Prudential Americana acquires Century 21 MoneyWorld
Prudential Americana acquires Century 21 MoneyWorld - The Prudential Americana real estate brokerage has acquired Century 21 MoneyWorld and its 150 real estate agents in Las Vegas, Prudential owner and broker Mark Stark said Wednesday.

Stark, who filed for bankruptcy reorganization in 2007, also owns Prudential Arizona Properties, which he acquired earlier this year. He would not disclose financial details on the acquisitions, other than to say they were backed by Prudential's financial arm.

The company now has some 1,900 real estate agents in 15 offices between the two states.

Stark said he saw an opportunity to work with a company that's been doing "quality business" in Las Vegas for 27 years. The acquisition is an effort to build the Prudential brand despite market fluctuations, he said.

Mike West, managing broker of Century 21 MoneyWorld, will continue working with Prudential Americana Group in management and business development roles.
